Jon Snow's Sword
This is my version of the sword given to Jon Snow in the book Game of Thrones. The triple fullered blade is hardened and tempered 1075 high carbon steel. The cross is bronze and is peened to the tang. The pommel is bronze and is keyed and tig welded to the tang. The grip is a wood core which is epoxied and pinned with a bronze pin to the tang. The grip is wrapped with cotton cord and cotton cord risers and then covered in leather.
The scabbard is a wood core wih leather covering, bronze chape and locket, and two point suspension system.

This sword is sold. A simlar sword could be commissioned. Cost for the sword with this blade type would be $3500. Cost for a custom scabbard would be $1200. Two point suspension system and belt with bronze buckles and end would be $450. |
