The Corrupter
This Fantasy long sword was made as a stage blunt. It can also be made with a sharpened blade. The blade shape and weight distribution of this sword make it primarily a thruster, though of course this stage version has a rounded tip. The blade is 1075-80 high carbon steel which has been hardened and tempered. The blade has an antiqued finish. The cross and pommel are bronze with the pommel being keyed to the tang and affixed with a recessed pommel nut. The grip is hardwood wrapped with leather.
